Survived by her husband, Odis Carmichael of Martin

Survived by her children, Jimmy and Mark Carmichael, and Barbara Castleman all of Martin

Survived by her brother, Bill Smith of Memphis

Survived by her sisters, Virginia Fuchs of Jacksonville, Florida and Rob Reid Brown of Memphis

Preceded in death by her parents, William and Sarah Moody Barnett Smith

Survived by 5 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren

Mrs. Carmichael was a member of Bible Union Baptist Church.
