Mr. Nathaniel Owens, age 78, died Tuesday, 10/12/2010, at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital in Jackson, TN.
Funeral services will be Saturday, 10/16/2010, at 12:00 PM at Progressive Baptist Church, with burial to follow at Parham Cemetery. Visitation will be after 11:00 AM Saturday at the church.
Mr. Owens is survived by his wife, Barbara Ann Mitchell of Martin; sons, Keith Edwards, Calvin Edwards, Bart Chandler and Mark Chandler all of Martin; sister, Ima Joyce Hopkins of Martin.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Sterling Owens and Zelma Riley Owens.
Mr. Owens was a retired security guard from the Milan Arsenal in Milan, TN. He was a member of Progressive Baptist Church in Martin and served in the U.S. Army.
