Myra Moss Walker

Mrs. Myra Ann Moss Walker, age 79, died Tuesday, December 22, 2015, at Humboldt Nursing and Rehab Center in Humboldt, Tennessee.

Funeral service will be at Murphy Funeral Home on Sunday, December 27, 2015, 2:00 P.M. with Rev. Dennis Trull and Rev. Bill Brown officiating. Burial will follow in East Side Cemetery. Visitation will be at Emmanuel Baptist Church in Humboldt, Tennessee on Saturday, December 26, 2015, from 4:00 P.M. - 7:00 P.M. A visitation will begin at Murphy Funeral Home on Sunday, December 27, 2015, 12:00 Noon until funeral time at 2:00 P.M.

Mrs. Walker was preceded in death by her husband, James R. (Pete) Walker; her parents, R.H. Moss and Veneda Wilson Moss; two sisters, Alvaleen Moss Boone and Lena Moss Boone.

She retired from Crenshaw Clinic in Humboldt where she was a receptionist for over 30 years. She was a graduate of South Fulton High School and a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church in Humboldt, Tennessee since 1966.

Mrs. Walker is survived by her children, Kristi Lee (Ricky) Harris, Randy (Tammy) Walker and Trent Walker all of Humboldt, Tennessee; two sisters, Sylviadeen Pewitt and Nina Rose Gilliam both of Fulton, Kentucky; two brothers, Richard Moss and Mike Moss both of Martin; seven grandchildren, Jason (Susannah) Lewis, Jacob Lewis, Keri Jo (Jason) Coleman, Cassie (John) Mullins, Jed Walker, Erica Peterson, Mark (Alicia) Long; 12 great-grandchildren.
