Mrs. Russellene Vancleave

Mrs. Russellene Gardner VanCleave, age 87, of the Gardner Community died Tuesday, March 8, 2016, at her residence.

Funeral Service will be Friday, March 11, 2016, 4:00 P.M. at Gardner United Methodist Church with Rev. Franklin Gardner officiating. Burial will follow in Martin Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Thursday, March 10, 2016, at Murphy Funeral Home from 5:00 P.M. - 8:00 P.M., or after 1:00 P.M. on Friday at Gardner Methodist Church.

Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.

Mrs. VanCleave was preceded in death by her husband, Albert VanCleave; her parents, James Franklin (Jim) Gardner and Alva Hester Gardner; one twin sister, Kathleen Olds; one brother, James Fred Gardner.

Mrs. VanCleave retired from Martin Manufacturing Company. She was a graduate of Martin High School and a member of Gardner United Methodist Church.

She is survived by her children, Lana (Greg) Lee, Roger (Beth) VanCleave, Waymon (Vanetta) VanCleave and Terry (Teresa) VanCleave all of Martin; one brother, Rev. Franklin (Ann) Gardner of Martin; 11 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
