Mrs. Ruby Wheat

Mrs. Ruby Murphy Wheat, age 95, of Martin died Sunday, April 3, 2016, at her residence.

Funeral Service will be Thursday, April 7, 2016, 1:00 P.M. at Murphy Funeral Home with Rev. Lowell Wiley and Rev. Chad Marrow officiating. Burial will follow in East Side Cemetery in Martin. Visitation will at Murphy Funeral Home on Wednesday, April 6, 2016, from 5:00 P.M. - 8:00 P.M.

Mrs. Wheat was preceded in death by her husband, John Jeter Wheat; her son, Jerry Wheat; her parents, Marvin Wolvin Murphy and Annie Estelle Pate Murphy.

She was a homemaker and a member of Ruthville Baptist Church.

Mrs. Wheat is survived by her daughters, Carolyn Killebrew of Martin and Brenda Kimbrell of Crossville, TN; her son and daughter-in-law, Danny and Carol Wheat of Martin; 12 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; 20 great great-grandchildren.
