Mrs. Mary Beth Scott Taylor of Martin, age 65, died Friday, June 17, 2016, at her residence.
Funeral services will be Thursday, 06/23/2016, at 1:00 PM at Oak Grove Missionary Baptist Church, Martin, TN, with burial to follow at Parham Cemetery, Martin TN. Visitation will be after 11:00 AM Thursday until service time at the church.
Mrs. Taylor is survived by her sons, George Henry (Evelyn) Taylor, Jr. and Kelvin Alexander Taylor both of Martin; one grandson, Jac-que Barnett Taylor and one great-grandson, Darius Alexander Barnett both of Martin.
Ms. Mary Beth worked for 48 years at The Hearth Restaurant in Martin. She was known best for her awesome homemade pies that she made daily. She was a member of Oak Grove Missionary Baptist Church in Martin.
She was preceded in death by her husband, George Henry Taylor, Sr.; her parents, Henry Scott and Mary "Hurley" Scott; her brothers, Bobby Scott, Jerry Scott and Jimmy Scott.
