Mrs. Martha Mckelvy

Mrs. Martha Milligan McKelvy, age 100, died Thursday, March 10, 2016, at Van Ayer Healthcare and Rehab Center.

Funeral service will be Saturday, March 12, 2016, 1:00 P.M. at Murphy Funeral Home with Bro. Eddie Hutchens officiating. Burial will follow in East Side Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday until funeral time at 1:00 P.M.

Grandsons and Great-Grandsons will serve as Pallbearers and Honorary Pallbearers.

Mrs. McKelvy was preceded in death by her husband, Leon McKelvy; her son, Royce McKelvy; parents, John Milligan and Vinnie Wall Milligan; one sister, Vada Norville; one brother, Marvin Milligan.

Mrs. McKelvy was a homemaker and long time Mary Kay consultant for this area. She formerly worked for Merritt Clothing Company and was a member of Bethel Church of Christ.

She is survived by her two daughters, Doris (Gene) Harris and Martha (Rex) Pate both of Martin. She is survived by seven grandchildren, Keith (Connie) Harris, Barry (Pam) Harris both of Martin, Mark (Belinda) Pate of Murfreesboro, TN, Steve (Danita) Pate of Collierville, TN, Penne Grisham of Union City, TN, Brian (Sue) McKelvy of Columbia, TN and Brad (Marsha) McKelvy of Murfreesboro, TN; 11 great-grandchildren; 3 great great-grandchildren.
