Mrs. Hazell Dowdy

Mrs. Hazell Cothron Dowdy, age 90, died Friday, July 13, 2018, at The Arbors in Union City, Tennessee.

Funeral Service will be Monday, July 16, 2018, 10:00 A.M. at Murphy Funeral Home with Rev. Randy Cooper officiating.  Burial will follow in Stanley's Cemetery.  Visitation will be Sunday, July 15, 2018, from 4:00 P.M. - 7:00 P.M. at the funeral home.

Mrs. Dowdy was preceded in death by her husband, Milton Dowdy; her son, Roger Dowdy; parents, Bratton and Eula Belle Dickerson Cothron.

She was a homemaker and a member of First United Methodist Church in Martin.

Mrs. Dowdy is survived by her son, Waldrop (Debbie) Dowdy of Union City; her daughter-in-law, Linda Jackson Dowdy; three grandchildren, Allison (Darryl) White, Dwayne (Dishell) Dowdy and Erik (Leigh) Dowdy; seven great-grandchildren, Walker and Cothron Plunk, Hensleigh, Ardri Clara and Ava Brooke Dowdy, Bracen and Brentley Dowdy.
