Mr. Dayne Hawks

Mr. Dayne M. Hawks, age 86, died Sunday, March 20, 2016, at his residence.

Funeral Service will be Wednesday, March 23, 2016, 10:00 A.M. at First Baptist Church in Martin with Dr. Mike Sams and Rev. Wayne Perkins officiating. Burial to follow in Tansil Cemetery near Sharon. Visitation will be Tuesday, March 22, 2016, at First Baptist Church from 5:00 P.M. - 8:00 P.M.

Mr. Hawks is survived by his wife of 65 years, Mrs. Monema Harding Hawks of Sharon, TN; his children, Donna (Terry) Sturdivant of Sharon, David (Katana) Hawks of Martin and Doug Hawks of Sharon; one brother, Wayne Hawks of Martin; six grandchildren, Terone Hawks, Selene Hawks, Alisse Hawks Kirk, Bryce Hawks, Cy Sturdivant and Travis Sturdivant; nine great-grandchildren.

Mr. Hawks was a retired Woodman of The World and Modern Woodman of America insurance agent. He was a member of First Baptist Church in Martin, and a 60 year member of The Masonic Lodge.

He was preceded in death by his parents, John Madison Hawks and Golder Hawks; three brothers, Houston Hawks, Ed Hawks and Robert Hawks; one sister, Mozelle Griffin.
