Monette Jacobs Turner

Mrs. Wilma Monette Jacobs Turner, age 95, died Monday, July 9, 2012, at Martin Health Care.

Funeral service will be Thursday, July 12, 2012, 11:00 A.M. at Murphy Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Alamo Cemetery between Sharon and Rives. Visitation will be Wednesday, July 11, 2012, from 5:00 P.M. - 7:00 P.M.

Mrs. Turner was preceded in death by her husband, James Thomas Turner; her parents, Jodie M. Jacobs and Myrtle Drane Keathley Jacobs; her brothers, J.B. Jacobs, Floyd Jacobs and Billy Wayne Jacobs; her sister, Modean Collier; her great-granddaughter, Madison Fagan.

Mrs. Turner is survived by her son, Keath (Kim) Turner; her daughters, Nola (Larry) Coleman and Sheila Turner all of Martin; her sisters, Joy Stephens, Sarah Hazlewood and Durell Royster all of Martin; six grandchildren, Laura (Jon) Hahn, Lisa (Mark) Fagan, Jodie (Hubert) Morrison; Kimberly (Rodney) Smith; Jamison (Jada) Turner and Tyler Turner; eight great-grandchildren, J.C. and Kathryn Hahn, Drew Fagan, MacKenzie, Caleb, Grace and Lydia Morrison, Isabella and Sierra Smith.

Mrs. Turner was a homemaker and a member of Mt. Pelia Baptist Church.
