Mildred Smith Barber

Mrs. Mildred Smith Barber, age 86, of Fowler Road, Martin TN, died Wednesday, 06/03/2015, at VanAyer Manor Nursing & Rehab.

Funeral Service will be Saturday, June 6, 2015, Murphy Funeral Home at 1:00 P.M. Burial to follow in Gardner Cemetery in Martin. Visitation will begin at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday at the funeral home for two hour prior to funeral service at 1:00 P.M.

Mrs. Barber was a member of Gardner Church of Christ and a homemaker.

Mrs. Barber is survived by her husband, Lester B. Barber, Martin TN; a daughter, Cindy (Steve) Adams, Martin TN; two sons, Mike (Kathy) Barber, Martin TN, and Jeff Barber, Mary Esther, FL; a sister, Dollie Brewer, Martin TN; and a brother, Joe (Faye) Smith, Martin TN. She is survived by seven grandchildren, John (Kelly) Barber of Knoxville, TN, Jill Barber, Trina (Jay) DeWeese and Tracy (Thomas) McDermid all of Spring Hill, TN; Nicole Adams of Martin, Alesha (Chad) Ezelle of Milan, TN, Riley Barber of Destin, FL; six great-grandchildren, Cavin and Wyatt Barber, Easton and Eli Ezelle, Hunter Barber and Bailey DeWeese.

Mrs. Barber was preceded in death by three brothers, Paul, Tom, and Melvin Smith; also her parents, Herman and Mamie Lee Lovelace Smith.
