Funeral service will be Friday, July 3, 2009, at McConnell Baptist Church; 11:00 A.M. Burial will follow in East Side Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday, July 2, 2009, at Murphy Funeral Home; 5:00 P.M. - 8:00 P.M., or after 10:00 A.M. Friday at McConnell Baptist Church until funeral time at 11:00 A.M.
Preceded in death by wife, Edwina Hale Harris; and wife, Evelyn (Polly) Long Harris. Survived by son, Danny (Caroline) Harris of Greenfield; and daughter, Janet (Gordon) Wilbanks of Martin; two grandchildren, Cory and Clint Wilbanks. He was preceded in death by parents, Joe and Lorine Fullerton Harris; and one brother, Joe (Jack) Harris.
Mr. Harris was a retired farmer and a retired supervisor with Swift Company in Fulton, KY. He was a member of McConnell Baptist Church.
