Merrill Franklin Brock, Jr.

Merrill Franklin Brock, Jr., age 81, died Tuesday at Regional Hospital in Jackson. Mr. Brock lived in the Public Wells Community near Martin. Funeral services will be Friday, October 30, 2009, at Public Wells Baptist Church; 11:00 A.M. Burial to follow in Public Wells Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday, October 29, 2009, at Murphy Funeral Home; 4:00 P.M. - 7:00 P.M., or after 10:00 A.M. Friday morning at the church.

Mr. Brock is survived by his wife, Kathryn Garner Brock of Martin; two daughters, Jeanne King and Donna Dellinger both of Martin; brother, Ted Brock; sisters, Eva Dell Burcham and Sue Chappell all of Martin. He is survived by three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Mr. Brock was a retired farmer, graduate of Sharon High School and a member of Public Wells Baptist Church.
