Mrs. Mavis F. Glasgow, age 92, died Saturday, January 23, 2016, at Van Ayer Nursing and Rehab Center in Martin.
Funeral Service will be at 2:00 P.M. on Saturday, January 30, 2016, at Murphy Funeral Home with Rev. Randy Cooper officiating. Burial will follow in East Side Cemetery in Martin. Visitation will begin at 12:00 Noon on Saturday until funeral time at 2:00 P.M.
Mrs. Glasgow was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Neal Glasgow; her parents, Ray Freeman and Georgia Bryant Freeman; her brother, John Bryant Freeman; her sister, Janice Freeman Brann.
She was a homemaker and a member of First United Methodist Church in Martin.
Mrs. Glasgow is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Richard N. and Beth Glasgow of Columbiana, Alabama; two grandchildren, Teale G. (Chad) Yeilding of Birmingham, Alabama and Lee (Jessica) Glasgow of Baton Rouge, Louisiana; two great-grandchildren, Harper and Wren Yeilding of Birmingham, Alabama.
In lieu of flowers, Memorials to St. Jude Children's Hospital in Memphis.
