Maurice Field

Mr. Maurice Houston Field, age 73, of Martin died Wednesday, August 17, 2011, at Volunteer Community Hospital.

Funeral service will be Saturday, August 20, 2011, at First United Methodist Church in Martin; 11:00 A.M. Burial to follow in East Side Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday, August 19, 2011, at Murphy Funeral Home; 5:00 P.M. - 7:00 P.M., or beginning at 10:00 A.M. at the church Saturday until service time at 11:00 A.M.

Mr. Field is survived by his wife, Carla Wilson Field of Martin; son, Maurice Edward (Bartola) Field of Belize; daughter, Alicia (Tony) Pinto of Martin; sister, Patty Woodward of Paris, TN; grandchildren, Christopher Pinto, Karyme Cunil, Julissa Cunil and Maurice Sebastian Field.

Mr. Field was a retired professor from The University of Tennessee at Martin. He was a member of First United Methodist Church in Martin.
