Matthew Wright

Mr. Matthew Eugene Wright, age 46, died Sunday, February 18, 2024, at West Tennessee Volunteer Hospital in Martin.

Graveside service will be Wednesday, February 21, 2024, 1:00 P.M. at Pleasant View Cemetery in Dukedom with Rev. Kylan Mann officiating.  Visitation will be Wednesday from 11:00 A.M. - 12:30 P.M. at Murphy Funeral Home.

Mr. Wright is survived by his children, Matthew Casey (Maggie) Wright of Ft. Cavazoz, TX, Noah Gene Wright of Ft. Johnson, LA, Kaleb Ray Wright and Lexis Ray Wright both of Union City, TN; his parents, Bobby Wright and Cheryl Pate Finley both of Martin; two sisters, Ashley Ann Moore of Martin and Janet Lindsey Moore of Obion, TN; his grandmothers, Anna Pate and Martha Sue Wright both of Martin; his fiancé, Miranda Hitt; the mothers of his children, Loretta Morgan and Selena Jones..

Matt worked for Tennessee Home Solutions and was a 1996 graduate of Westview High School in Martin.

He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Robert Eugene Wright, Sr. and Charles Eugene Pate.
