Mary Witherspoon

Mrs. Mary Thomas Covington Witherspoon, age 94, of Martin died Thursday, 12/08/2011, at Volunteer Community Hospital.

Graveside service will be held Wednesday, 12/14/2011, at West Hill Cemetery in Rives, TN; 2:00 P.M.

Mrs. Witherspoon was preceded in death by her husband Woodrow (Scrubby) Wilson Witherspoon; her son, Tom Witherspoon; her daughter, Betty Carol Witherspoon; her parents, Cleveland H. Covington and Annie Mary Dowel Covington; her brothers, Paul Covington, C.H. Covington, Shrley Covington and Wallace Covington; her sister, Bonnie Garner.

She is survived by her daughter, Sally Ann (Lanny) Baker of Banning, California; four grandchildren.

Mrs. Witherspoon retired from Brown Shoe Company. She was a Methodist.
