Mary L. Hobbs

Mrs. Mary L. Hobbs, age 87, of Martin, TN, formerly of Paducah, KY, died Friday, 06/17/2016, at Martin Health Care.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 AM Tuesday, 06/21/2016, at the First United Methodist Church, Martin TN, with burial to follow at Woodlawn Cemetery, Paducah, Ky. Visitation will be Monday, 06/20/2016, between 6:00 PM and 8:00 PM at Murphy Funeral Home; visitation Tuesday at the church after 10:00 AM until service time. Rev. Randy Cooper will officiate the service.

Mrs. Hobbs was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church, West Paducah, KY.
She was a loving wife, mother, and homemaker who spent her adult life outside the home working in the Church for God.

Mrs. Hobbs is survived by a daughter, Norma (Frank) Holbrook, Martin, TN; four grandchildren, and six great grandchildren.

Mrs. Hobbs was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Herschel Hobbs, and a son, Joseph Earl Hobbs.

The family requests that memorials be made to the Costa Rica Mission Team of the First United Methodist Church, Martin TN.
