Mrs Mary Katherine Crockett Griffin, age 84, died Monday 03/17/2008, at Sumner Regional Hospital, Gallatin TN.
Visitation for Ms. Griffin will be at Murphy Funeral Home on Friday, March 21 from 5p.m. until 8p.m. Funeral Services will be held at Murphy Funeral Home on Sat, March 22, at 11 a.m. with burial in New Hope Baptist Church Cemetary near Latham
Mrs Griffin was predeeded in death by her husband, Waymon Griffin; a daughter, Linda Kay Darnell; and a sister, Louise Simmons; and her parents, Lincoln & Richie McGehee Crockett.
Mrs Griffin is survived by two sons, David Darnell, of Adolphus Ky; and Jerry Lynn Darnell, Carlinville, Ill; two step daughters; Glenda Deason, Dresden TN, and Beverly Guidry, Gonzales La.
She is also survived by two sisters, Anna Martha Duffy, Memphis TN; and Dorothy Jane Faughn, of Gilbertsville KY. She has 6 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.
