Mary Hazel Summers Adams

Mrs. Mary Hazel Summers Adams, age 91, of the Public Wells Community, died Wednesday, 12/28/2016, at Weakley County Nursing and Rehab.

Funeral Service will be Saturday, December 31, 2016, 11:00 A.M. at Murphy Funeral Home with Bro. Kerry Shopher officiating. Burial will follow in East Side Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday, December 30, 2016, from 5:00 P.M. - 7:00 P.M. at Murphy Funeral Home, or after 10:00 A.M. Saturday until funeral time.

Serving as pallbearers will be her grandsons, Brad and Brent Adams; and nephews, Tommy, Bobby, and Steve Summers, Tommy and Denny Simmons, and Rick Campbell.

Mrs. Adams was a member of Ralston Baptist Church; she was retired from Weakley County Nursing Home Laundry Dept.; and with her husband operated their farm on Public Wells Road.

Mrs. Adams was preceded in death by her husband, Joe Thomas Adams, her son, John William Adams, her brother, Bill Summers, and her parents, John Ed and Opal Wash Summers.

Mrs. Adams is survived by her daughter, Nancy J. Adams, Union City, TN; her three grandchildren, Brad(Connie) Adams, Brianne(Bradley) Stockdale, and Brent(Brittany) Adams, all of Martin, TN; her four great grandchildren, Hunter Todd, Hayleigh Stockdale, Austin Stockdale, Bentley Adams; her daughter-in-law, Claudine Adams Patterson, Martin, TN; and her brother, Thomas Summers, Atlanta, GA.
