Mary Cornelia Brasfield Herron

Mrs. Mary Cornelia Brasfield Herron, age 95, of South Cedar St., Dresden TN, died Monday, 09/10/2012, at Volunteer Community Hospital.

Funeral and Celebration Service will be Saturday, September 15, 2012, at the First United Methodist Church in Dresden at 11:00 A.M. Burial will be in Sunset Cemetery in Dresden. Visitation will be Friday, September 14, 2012, at the First United Methodist Church in Dresden from 5:00 P.M. - 8:00 P.M, or after 10:00 A.M. on Saturday.

Mrs. Herron was a member of Dresden First United Methodist Church. She was a devoted mother and grandmother.

Mrs. Herron is survived by three sons; Roy B.(Nancy) Herron, Dresden TN, Dean(Diane) Herron, Estill Springs, TN, and Ben Herron, Dresden TN; six grandsons, three great- granddaughters, and one great- grandson.

Mrs. Herron was preceded in death by her husband, Chancellor Grooms Herron; a daughter, Betsye Herron Hickman; a brother, Richard Brasfield, and her parents, Roy and Johnnie Bobbitt Brasfield.

In lieu of flowers memorials may made to First United Methodist Church in Dresden or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
