Mr Griffin was a dispatcher for I.C. Railroad; he was a graduate of Martin High School, and a Navy Vetran.
Mr Griffin is survived by a daughter, Carey(Donnie) Tarkington, Crossville, TN, and a son, Stephen Griffin, Martin TN; two grandchildren, Camie Hoskins and Shane Tarkington, and four great grandchildren.
Mr Griffin was preceded in death by a sister, Lucille Maxey, a brother, Arvin Griffin, and his parents, Laverne & Ruby Bynum Griffin.
