Mr. Marvin Griffin, age 84, of Martin died Thursday, 01/03/2013 at Regional Hospital in Jackson, Tennessee.
Celebration of Life visitation will be Saturday, March 9, 2013, at Murphy Funeral Home from 11:00 A.M. - 12:00 Noon.
Mr. Griffin was a dispatcher for I.C. Railroad. He was a graduate of Martin High School and a Navy Veteran.
Mr. Griffin is survived by his daughter, Carey (Donnie) Tarkington of Crossville, TN; his son, Stephen Giffin of Martin; two grandchildren, Camie Hoskins and Shane Tarkington; four great-grandchildren.
Mr. Griffin was preceded in death by a sister, Lucille Maxey; one brother, Arvin Griffin; his parents, Laverne and Ruby Bynum Griffin.
