Mrs. Martha Sue Turner Pate, age 81, died Saturday, October 29, 2016, at her residence.
Graveside Service will be Tuesday, November 1, 2016, 11:00 A.M. in East Side Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday, October 31, 2016, from 4:00 P.M. - 7:00 P.M. at Murphy Funeral Home; or beginning at 10:00 A.M. on Tuesday.
Mrs. Pate was preceded in death by her husband, James Thomas Pate; her parents, Jess Calvin Turner and Ludie Nail Turner.
Mrs. Pate worked as a supervisor for Martin Manufacturing Company. She was a graduat of Palmersville High School and a member of Adams Chapel Baptist Church.
She is survived by her sons, Donald Glynn (Marcella) Pate of Dresden, Danny Joe (Amy) Pate of Greenfield and James Kenneth (Elaine) Pate of New Jersey; her daughter, Vickie Barrington of Martin; seven grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
