Mrs. Martha Buchanan, 81, of Martin died Saturday at Weakley County Nursing Home in Dresden. Funeral Service will be Tuesday, July 7, 2009, at Murphy Funeral Home; 11:00 A.M. burial to follow in East Side Cemetery. Visitation will be be Monday, July 6, 2009, from 4:00 P.M. - 7:00 P.M.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William F. (Sonny) Buchanan. She is survived by her two daughters, Beverly Cox of Spring Hill, TN, and Debbie Dane of Martin; one brother, Harold Hazlewood of Greenfield. She was preceded in death by parents, Hobson Hazlewood and Lizzie Mae Terry Hazlewood. She is survived by five grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Buchanan worked for We Care Ministries and was a member of Central Baptist Church.
