Mark Rainey

Mr. Mark Dee Rainey, age 62 of Sharon, TN died Sunday, September 15, 2019, in Houston County, Tennessee.

A Remembrance Service for Mark will be held Saturday, September 28, 2019, at New Salem Cumberland Presbyterian Church, located halfway between Sharon and Dresden on Hwy 89.  Visitation will begin at 9:00 A.M. with the service to follow at 10:00.

Mr. Rainey is survived by his fiancée , Marti Herndon of Sharon.  He was preceded in death by his son, Michael Rainey; his father, Robert Allen Rainey.

Mark loved being outdoors.  He enjoyed hunting, fishing and being on the lake.  He could fix all kinds of things including cars, trucks, weedeaters, mowers, wells, plumbing and appliances.  He especially liked yard sales and county fairs.  His knack for finding four leaf clovers and seeing shooting stars was remarkable.  Mark was the sort of person who would drop everything to help a friend.  He will be missed.
