Mr. Mark Fielding Gallien, age 60, died Sunday, July 06, 2014, at Vanderbilt Hospital in Nashville.
Funeral service will 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, July 9, 2014, at the First United Methodist Church with burial to follow in East Side Cemetery. Visitation will begin 11:00 A.M. on Wednesday at the church for three hours prior to funeral service at 2:00 P.M.
Mr. Gallien is survived by his wife, Ann Hatcher Gallien of Martin; his daughters, Sarah (Kyle) Pettigrew of Bells, TN and Mary Helen (Nick) Wirwa of St. Francisville, Louisiana; his brothers, Dr. Tom (Mollie) Gallien of Martin and Dr. John (Shelby) Gallien of Savannah, TN; two grandchildren, Berkeley Pettigrew and Caroline Pettigrew.. Mr. Gallien was preceded in death by his parents, Glenn S. Gallien, Sr. and Mary Belle Hurst Gallien; his brother, Dr. Glenn Gallien, Jr.
Mr. Gallien was an attorney with the firm of Brundige, Maloan, Gallien, & Moore. He was a graduate of Martin High School, The University of Tennessee at Martin where he was a member of the Alpha Tau Omega Fraternity and Memphis State School of Law. He was a member of the Martin Masonic Lodge #551 and a member of the First United Methodist Church in Martin.
