Marion Joyce Galey Stover

Marion Joyce Galey Stover, of Martin, TN passed away on Tuesday, February 11, 2025. 

She was born in Greenfield, TN on April 20,1934 to the late Gilbert "Buster" Galey and Lucille Harrington Galey.

Joyce married her husband, Elvis “ER” Stover, their union was a testament to enduring love and companionship. 

She will be deeply missed by her son Greg (Tina) Stover of Martin, TN; one grandson, Ryan (Whitney) Stover,
and her three great-granddaughters, Kella Simmons, Aubree Simmons,
and Sydney Stover all of Martin, TN.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by 
her two sons, Gary Stover and Mark Stover; and one brother, Jimmy Galey.

A devoted member of the Martin First Baptist Church, Joyce lived a life guided by
faith and kindness. In her leisure time, she enjoyed the quiet pleasures of reading
and immersing herself in the captivating world of murder mysteries.
Joyce's gentle spirit, warm smile, and unwavering love will be remembered by 
all who knew her. Her absence will leave a void in the hearts of her family and friends,
but the memories of her life will remain a source of comfort and strength.

Services will be held in Murphy Funeral Chapel Friday February 14, 2025
at 2:00pm, visitation will be beginning at 1:00pm until the funeral hour,
Burial to follow in Eastside Cemetery in Martin, TN.

Active Pallbearers will be,
Bo Galey, Lonnie Galey, Jonathon Linam, Jerry Damron, Walter Ward and Josh Allen.
