Marinan Barner

Mrs. Marinan Gardner Barner, age 67, died Tuesday, March 13, 2018, at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital.

Graveside Service will be Friday, March 16, 2018, in Mt. Zion Cemetery in Water Valley, KY at 12:00 Noon.  Visitation will begin at 10:00 A.M. Friday morning at Murphy Funeral Home until graveside service time.  

Mrs. Barner was preceded in death by her husband, Earl Barner; her father, Robert Gene Gardner.  She is survived by her son, Brian (Claudia) Ward of Navarre, Florida; her mother, Joyce Burton Nall of Martin; one sister, Christy Nall (Eddie) Mathis of Wingo, Kentucky; Rev. Joe (Becky) Gardner of Illinois; two grandchildren.  

Mrs. Barner worked as a certified nursing assistant for several nursing homes in the area.
