Marie Bradberry Bowers

Mrs. Marie Bowers, 86, of Martin died Sunday, July 19, 2009, at her home. Funeral service will be Wednesday, July 22, 2009, at Murphy funeral Home; 1:00 P.M. Burial will follow in East Side Cemetery. Visitation for Mrs. Bowers will begin at 11:00 A.M. on Wednesday until funeral time at 1:00 P.M. She was preceded in death by her husband, Morris Bowers; a son, Tony Bowers; and a brother, Doyle Bradberry. Mrs. Bowers is survived by son, Buddy Bowers of Martin. She is survived by grandchildren; Vicky Baloga of Camden, TN, Jamey Bowers of Medina, TN, Jay Morris Bowers of Humboldt, TN, Brent Bowers of Martin and Kelley Bowers of Decatur, TN. She is survived by great-grandchildren; Harley Taylor, Patricia Baloga, Dalton Bowers, Kirkland Bowers and Jayleigh Bowers. One great-grandchild, Rylan Merrell. She was preceded in death by her parents, Roscoe and Annie Taylor Bradberry.

Mrs. Bowers formally worked at Martin Manufacturing and in administration at Volunteer General Hospital. She was a member of First United Methodist Church in Martin.
