Margaret Plunk

Mrs. Margaret Lucille Plunk, age 92, died Monday, January 19, 2015, at Martin Health Care.

Funeral Service will be Friday, January 23, 2015, at 11:00 A.M. at the Gardner Church of Christ. Burial will follow in Stanley's Chapel Cemetery near the Midway Community. Visitation will be at Murphy Funeral Home on Thursday, January 22, 2015, from 5:00 P.M. - 8:00 P.M., or after 10:00 A.M. on Friday at the church until funeral time at 11:00 A.M.

Mrs. Plunk was preceded in death by her husband, J.D. Plunk; her parents, Joseph Paul Plunk and Isaphene (Icie) Vickery Plunk; son, Edward Lee (Buddy) Plunk; granddaughter, Cheryl Laster. She is survived by her son, William Kelley (Betsy) Plunk of Collerville, Tennessee two daughters, Mary Ann (John) Rush and Carol (Wayne) Rawden both of Martin; five grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Plunk formerly worked at Martin Brothers Timber and Container Corporation. She was a member of Gardner Church of Christ in Martin.
