Margaret Maness

Mrs. Margaret Helen Maness, age 90, passed away on Wednesday, December 11, 2019, at Van Ayer Manor Nursing and Rehab Center in Martin.

Funeral service will be Saturday, December 14, 2019, 12:00 Noon at Murphy Funeral Home with Dr. Mike Sams and Rev. David Brown officiating.  Burial will follow in East Side Cemetery.  Visitation will be Saturday beginning at 10:00 A.M. until funeral time at 12:00 Noon.

Mrs. Maness was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Earl Maness; her daughter, Donna Maness; her parents, Russell Crouse Sr. and Liddia Fletcher Crouse; brothers, J.T. Crouse, Larry Crouse and Russell Crouse, Jr.

Mrs. Maness owned and operated Maness Tool and Die with her husband before retirement.  She was a member of First Baptist Church for 52 years.

She is survived by her children, Phil (Cyndy) Maness and Deborah (Doug) Worrell both of Martin; sister, Ruth (Carl) Buzzard of Dawson Springs, KY; three grandchildren, Mallory (James) Cobb, Matthew Worrell and Shelley Maness; five great-grandchildren, Sara Grace Goad, Hunter Cobb, Lyric Mullins, Gabe Mullins and Lauren (Andy) Beard; two great great-grandchildren, Tatum and Isabell Beard.
