Maidelle Dabbs

Mrs. Maidelle Smith Dabbs, age 93, of Martin died Tuesday, July 31, 2012, at Jackson General Hospital.

Funeral service will be Thursday, August 2, 2012, at Murphy Funeral Home at 1:00 P.M. with burial to follow in East Side Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday, August 1, 2012 from 4:00 P.M. - 7:00 P.M.

Mrs. Dabbs was preceded in death by her husband, Oliver Dabbs. She is survived by her son, Danny (Donna) Dabbs of Halls, TN; one grandson, David Dabbs of Cordova, TN; two granddaughters, Abbey and Sophie Dabbs, one brother, Buren Smith of Martin. She was preceded in death by brothers, Varon Smith and Duel Smith.

Mrs. Dabbs was owner, with her husband, of Dabbs Jewelry in Martin before she retired. She was a member of Union City Baptist Temple.
