Maidelle Brundige

Mrs. Maidelle Turner Brundige, age 90, of Martin died Wednesday, May 9, 2012, at Martin Health Care.

Funeral service will be Friday, May 11, 2012, at Central Baptist Church; 1:00 P.M. Burial will follow in East Side Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday, 05/11/2012, beginning at 10:00 A.M. until funeral time at 1:00 P.M.

Mrs. Brundige was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Former Mayor of Martin and Weakley County Executive, H.C. (Ham) Brundige; her parents, W.Y. (Bud) Turner and Tave Eaves Turner; her brother, James Turner.

Mrs. Brundige is survived by her son, Randy (Sandy) Brundige of Martin; her daughters, Sandra (Guy) Robbins of Martin, Pam Batson of Mobile, AL, Fran Spears (Paul Gholson) of Martin; nine grandchildren, Kristi Rezabek, Marti Nonemaker, Scott Robbins, Stacey Hicks, Lindsay Simmons, Jay Batson, Andrew Hart, Carmen Brundige and Natalie Brundige; eight great-grandchildren, Jay Nonemaker, Megan Nonemaker, Katie Bottorff, Cadence Brundige, Delaney Simmons, Trinity McCoy, Sydney Robbins and Kylie Rezabek.

Mrs. Brundige was a Charter Member of the Alumni Chapter of Zeta Tau Alpha at UT Martin. She was formerly a Girls Auxiliary Leader, Sunday School Teacher and Brownie Scout Leader. She was a member of Central Baptist Church in Martin.
