Mace Jett, Jr.

Mr. Mace Travis Jett, Jr., age 89, of Martin died Wednesday, March 25, 2020, at his residence.

In consideration of public welfare, health and safety, and in accordance with social gathering restrictions a Memorial Service and Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.

Mr. Jett is survived by his wife, Shirley Ann Bizzle Jett; his daughter, Dana Ann Jett-Rand both of Martin; three grandchildren, Jessica Ann Jett, Owen Travis Brennan and Amanda (Charles Adrian) Breeden; 12 great-grandchildren.

Mr. Jett was a retired Chaplain  from the U.S. Army with the rank of Lt. Colonel.  After retirement he served as pastor of Parkway Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Nashville, Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Erin, TN and Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Martin.  He was a graduate of Bethel University and held a Master's Degree from a Theological Seminary.  

He was preceded in death by his daughter, Constance Jett; his parents, M.T. Jett, Sr. and Lauretta Downs Jett.
