Lucile Spain

Mrs. Lucile Albrette Spain, age 80, died Sunday, December 23, 2018, at Diversicare in Martin.

Funeral service will be Friday, December 28, 2018, 11:00 A.M. at the Martin Church of Christ with Bro. John Forgy officiating.  Burial will follow in Tansil Cemetery.  Visitation will be Thursday, December 27, 2018, 5:00 P.M. - 8:00 P.M. at Murphy Funeral Home , or after 10:00 A.M. Friday at the church until funeral time.

Mrs. Spain was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Wesley Spain; parents, Orville Swenson and Velma Reichert Swenson; brother, David Swenson.

Mrs. Spain worked in food services at Volunteer General Hospital in Martin.  She was a graduate of Harding University and was a member of the Martin Church of Christ.

She is survived by her children, Sara Spain of Martin, Karen French of Rutherford, Timothy (Nancy) Spain of Troy and Carl (LaTrisha) Spain of West, Texas; sister, Kathleen Swenson (Robert) Cheatham of Abilene, TX; brother, Richard (Barbara) Swenson of Davenport, NB; eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
