Linda Sue Burress

Mrs. Linda Sue Burress, age 79, of Martin, TN, died Thursday, December 1, 2022 at Jackson Madison County Hospital.

Graveside services will be at 1:30 PM Saturday, December 3, 2022, at Stanley's Chapel Cemetery, with Rev. Terry Griffin officiating.  Visitation will be Saturday between 11:00 AM and 1:00 PM at the funeral home.

Linda was born in Akron, Ohio on April 30, 1943 to Ted and Ruth Robinson.  She grew up in the Blue Ridge Mountains in West Virginia.  She went on to earn her license as a cosmetologist and was a beautician for 50 plus years.  She enjoyed dancing, singing, and playing the guitar.  She was an excellent scrabble and card player and extremely talented artist/painter. 

She is preceded in death by her parents Ted and Ruth Robinson; sister, Betty Gardner; brother, George Robinson, and son William Canellas.

Mrs. Burress is survived by her husband, Nolie Burress, sons, Craig Dale Burress, Martin, TN, and Kenny Canellas, West Virginia; stepchildren, Mikey Burress (Valeria), Kenny Burress (Patty), Debbie Felden (John), brother, Jack Robinson and three grandchildren, Brittney (Logan) Parker, Brooklyn (Jake) Napier, and Corey(Brooke) Burress.
