Linda Shields

Linda Gail Shields, age 68, died Tuesday, October 23, 2018, at her residence in Martin.

Funeral service will be Friday, October 26, 2018, 11:00 A.M. at the Gardner Church of Christ with Bro. Sidney White and Bro. Larry Powers officiating.  Burial will follow in Martin Memorial Gardens.  Visitation will be Thursday, October 25, 2018, 5:00 P.M. - 8:00 P.M. at Murphy Funeral Home, or after 9:30 A.M. at the church on Friday.

Pallbearers are Jeff Fagan, Sammy Moses, Cody Waggener, Terry Lee Whiting, Van Denning and Jeff Floyd.  Honorary Pallbearers are Garrett Denning and Carson Denning.

Miss Shields was preceded in death by her parents, Connie Shields and Mattie Ferguson Shields.

She retired from Regions Bank and was a member of Gardner Church of Christ.  She was a 1968 graduate of Martin High School and a graduate of The University of Tennessee at Martin.

She is survived by two aunts, Maudie Fagan and Marie Vicary both of Martin.  She leaves behind many cousins.
