Lillian Humphrey

Mrs. Lillian Florence Humphrey, age 97, died Thursday, January 21, 2016, at Tennova Volunteer Community Hospital.

Funeral Service will be at 2:00 P.M. on Monday, January 25, 2016, at Murphy Funeral Home with Rev. Jerry Powell officiating. Burial will follow in East Side Cemetery in Martin. Visitation with the family will begin at 11:00 A.M. on Monday until service time at 2:00 P.M.

Rex Pate, Billy Gene Wagster, Larry Blankenship, Greg Decrow, Marvin Richardson and Kenneth Rogers will serve as pallbearers.

Mrs. Humphrey was preceded in death by her husband, Homer "Cotton" Humphrey; her parents, Bud Bonds and Minnie Melton Bonds; sister, Nettie Pate; brother Earl Bonds; one grandson, Dean Vowell.

She retired from Martin Manufacturing Company. She was a seamstress and a member of First Baptist Church in Martin.

Mrs. Humphrey is survived by her children, Wanda (Kenneth) Rogers of Dresden and Randy "Hump" Humphrey of Martin; four grandchildren, Cyndy Richardson, Lisa Green, Tracy Hill and Laura Beth Humphrey and great-grandchildren.
