Lawrence Allen (Lane) Harris

Mr. Lawrence Allen (Lane) Harris, age 59, died Thursday, September 18, 2014, in Kandahar, Afghanistan.

Graveside Service will be Thursday, September 25, 2014, at 1:30 P.M. East Side Cemetery. Visitation will be at Murphy Funeral Home on Thursday beginning at 11:00 A.M. until 1:00 P.M.

Mr. Harris is survived by his wife, Diana L. Harris of Martin; his brothers, Kyle E. Harris of Oceanside, CA, Keary A. Harris and Keir A. Harris both of Murrieta, CA. Lance K. Harris and Kris M. Harris both of West Monroe, LA; his sister, Lisa L. Harris of Salem, MA. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lawrence A. Harris, Jr. and Mary Catherine Mahan Harris; his sister, Lori Harris.

Mr. Harris retired from the U.S. Air Force after 22 years of service. He was an air operations officer for Dyncorp International in Kandahar, Afghanistan.
