La Verne Baldridge

Mrs. La Verne Pentecost Baldridge, age 95, died Thursday, November 5, 2015, at Lake Huron Woods Assisted Living in Ft. Gratiot, Michigan.

Funeral Service will be Tuesday, November 10, 2015, 1:00 P.M. at Murphy Funeral Home. Burial will follow in East Side Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday beginning at 11:00 A.M. until funeral time at 1:00 P.M.

Mrs. Baldridge was preceded in death by her husband, Woodrow Baldridge; her parents, Malcolm U. Pentecost, Sr. and Ethel Stow Pentecost; her sisters, Ann McCall and Leah McKelvey; her brother, Malcolm U. Pentecost, Jr. She is survived by her daughter, Lana (David E.) Alexander of Washington, Michigan; three grandchildren, Michael (Amy) Alexander, Mark Alexander and Lori Alexander (Steve) Corsetti; six great-grandchildren, Benjamin Corsetti, Savannah Alexander, Grace Alexander, Dominic Corsetti, Christopher Corsetti and Miles Alexander; her sister, Virginia Freeman of Memphis; her brother, Bob Pentecost of Knoxville.

Mrs. Baldridge was a retired bank teller and a homemaker.
