Mr. Floyd L. Morris, Jr. age 86, died Saturday, 09/24/2011, at Jackson Regional Hospital, Jackson TN.
Funeral service will be Tuesday, September 27, 2011, at Murphy Funeral Home; 1:00 P.M. Burial to follow in East Side Cemetery. Visitation for Mr. Morris will be Monday, September 26, 2011, from 5:00 P.M. - 8:00 P.M.
Mr. Morris was owner of D & M Garage, was a member of Central Baptist Church where he served as a deacon.
Mr. Morris is survived by a daughter, Linda(Dan) Blake, of Martin, TN, a sister, Agnes Carter, of Martin, two brothers, J.D. Morris, Milan TN, and Rev Leon Morris, Oak Ridge, TN; seven grandchildren, Dreama Blake, David Blake, Amanda "Mandy" Blake, Cord Adams, Meghan Adams, Clay Adams, Cole Adams; five great-grandchildren.
Mr. Morris was preceded in death by his wife, Carolyn Phillips Morris; daughter, Renee Adams; sister, Ruth Lackey; parents, Floyd L. & Opal Mai Moon Morris.
