Joye White

Mrs. Leatrice Joye Weldon White, age 91, died Tuesday, August 18, 2015, at Martin Health Care.

Graveside Service will be Thursday, August 20, 2015, in East Side Cemetery at 11:00 A.M. with Rev. Paul McAdoo officiating. Friends may assemble in the cemetery at 10:45 A.M.

Mrs. White was preceded in death by her husband, James Buford "Boots" White, Sr. She is survived by her children, James Buford White, Jr. and LuEllen (Marvin) Alexander both of Martin; five grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Joye taught Ballet, Tap Dancing and Baton for 25 years. She was a Master Quilter and a former Real Estate Agent. She was a member of Antioch Methodist Church in Springville, Tennessee.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Lee Weldon and Ellen Davis Weldon; three brothers, Cliff Weldon, Guy Weldon and Davis Weldon; three sisters, Vera Crowder, Doradean Weldon and Shirley Edwards; one grandson, Lee Alexander.
