Mrs. Josephine Walker Brundige, age 98, of Martin, TN, died Tuesday, 12/08/2015, at Martin Health Care.

Funeral services will be Saturday, 12/12/2015, at 11:00 AM at the Martin Church of Christ, with Bro. John Forgy officiating, with burial to follow at Hatler's Chapel Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday, 12/11/2015 at the Martin Church of Christ between 4:00 PM and 7:00 PM.


Mrs. Brundige was a member of Martin Church of Christ, and a homemaker.

Mrs. Brundige is survived by a daughter, Brenda McClain, Martin, TN; two sons, Kenneth W. (Jeanette) Brundige, Smyrna, TN, and Mike (Ernestine) Brundige, Providence, Ky; four grandchildren, Jack Brundige, Knoxville, TN, Brian Brundige, Hawaii, Susan Olson, Louisville, KY, Amanda Brundige, Henderson, KY; two great grandchildren, Austin and Alyssa Brundige, Knoxville, TN; two sisters, Dena Hane, Martin, TN, and Robbie (Carl) Martin, Murray, KY; four brothers, T. Joe Walker, and Raphael (Mildred) Walker, both of Martin TN, Hillman (Edna) Walker, Memphis, TN, and Bob(Faye) Walker, Millbury, OH.

Mrs. Brundige was preceded in death by her husband, William Garvin Brundige; brothers, J.T. Walker, Harvey Walker, Bert Walker, Harold Walker, Eulane Walker, and Bill Walker; and her parents, Neil and Lillian Gatewood Walker.

Family requests that memorials be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital, Memphis, TN.
