John Lathrop Fletcher, Jr., Phd

Mr. John Lathrop Fletcher, Jr., PhD, age 91, died Saturday, January, 17, 2015, at his residence.

Memorial Service and Celebration of Life will be Thursday, January 22, 2015, at St. Jude Catholic Church at 1:00 P.M.

Mr. Fletcher is survived by his wife, Mrs. Marie Evans Fletcher of Martin; his son, John L. Fletcher, III of Gladstone, Michigan; grandson, John L. Fletcher, IV of Fresno, California; one sister, Mary Lou Palmer of Maryville, TN. He was preceded in death by his wife, Rosemary Fletcher; his parents, John L. Fletcher, Sr. and Dorothy Bouton Fletcher.

Mr. Fletcher was a retired professor in the business department (Finance) at The University of Tennessee at Martin. Mr. Fletcher was a retired veteran of the U.S. Navy, WW II. He was a member of St. Jude Catholic Church in Martin.
