Joey W. Guest

Mr. Joey W. Guest, age 41, of Martin died Sunday, February 20, 2011, at Volunteer Community Hospital.

Funeral services will be Thursday, 02/24/2011, at 11:00 AM at the Martin Church of Christ. Visitation will be Wednesday, 02/23/2011, between 5:00PM and 8:00 PM at Murphy Funeral Home.

Mr. Guest is survived by his wife, Carol Scott Guest of Martin, his son, Bo C. Guest of Martin; his parents, Mike and Shelia Walker Thompson of Martin; his sister, Christel McKee of Martin, his brothers, Michael Thompson of Clinton, Maine and Brad Thompson of Troy, TN; his maternal grandparents, T. Joe and Verna Mae Walker. He was preceded in death by his father, Joe W. Guest, Jr.

Mr. Guest was a graduate of Westview High School and The University of Tennessee at Martin. He originated the Press Box #1 website and was an employee at Servall.
