Joe Thomas Pierce

Mr. Joe Thomas Pierce, age 67, of Travis Road, Martin TN, died Friday, 06/15/2012, at his home.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 AM Monday, 06/18/2012, at Murphy Funeral Home, with burial to follow at East Side Cemetery, Martin TN. Visitation will be Sunday, 06/17/2012, between 4:00 PM & 7:00 PM at Murphy Funeral Home.

Mr. Pierce was retired from the Martin Fire Department after 31 years of service, he attended Martin High School, and he was a Veteran of the U.S. Air Force, and was a member of Dresden Masonic Lodge # 90.

Mr. Pierce is survived by his wife, Barbara Hodges Pierce; a daughter, Teresa (Michael) Alexander; two sons, Joe Thomas (Kim) Pierce, Jr. and Jimmy (Misty) Pierce, all of Martin TN, six grandchildren, and two great grandchildren, and a brother, Mike Pierce, of Martin TN.

Mr. Pierce was preceded in death by a sister, Patricia Richardson, and his parents, Phillip Carlos(Jimmy) & Hattie Mae Jones Pierce.
