Joe Lee

Mr. Joseph Darrell "Joe" Lee, age 82, of Martin died Saturday, May 17, 2014, at Martin Health Care.

Funeral service will be Monday, May 19, 2014, at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church 11:00 A.M. Burial will follow in Cates Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday, May 18, 2014, from 4:00 P.M. - 7:00 P.M. at Murphy Funeral Home, or after 9:00 A.M. on Monday at the church until funeral time at 11:00 A.M.

Mr. Lee is survived by his wife, Joyce Spikes Lee; his son, Greg (Lana) Lee; his daughter, Amy (Steve) Bates; his brother, Max (Verna) Lee; four grandchildren; one great-granddaughter all of Martin. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jesse Floyd Lee and Mary Iva Brooks Lee.

Mr. Lee retired from Hubbell Lighting and was a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church in Martin. He was a veteran, U.S. Army.
