Joe Kerley

Mr. Joe Evans Kerley, age 79, died Thursday, March 19, 2020, at his residence.

Graveside service will be Saturday, March 21, 2020, 2:00 P.M. at East Side Cemetery.  No public visitation due to the interest of safety and public welfare.  The family has suggested the graveside be limited to family and close friends.

Mr. Kerley is survived by his wife, Judy Kerley; son, Chris (Debbie) Kerley all of Martin; his daughter, Kim (Chris) Hendrix of Lexington, TN; sisters, Kathleen Dyer of Strawberry Plains, TN, Peggy Holcomb and Sue Brown both of Rockwood, TN; three grandchildren, Blake Kerley, Lindsey (Dalton) Cook and Landon Hendrix.

He was a retired supervisor for Forked Deer River Basin.  He was a graduate of Tennessee Tech University and a member of First Baptist Church in Martin.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Evans Kerley and Laura Garrett Kerley.
