Joe Brent Hankins

Mr. Joe Brent Hankins, age 63, died Tuesday, June 25, 2019, at Diversicare in Martin.

Funeral service will be Saturday, June 29, 2019, 11:00 A.M. at Murphy Funeral Home with Bro. David Brown officiating.  Burial to follow in Gardner Cemetery in Martin.  Visitation will be Saturday, June 29th, beginning at 10:00 A.M. until service time at 11:00.

Pallbearers are Joshua Dana Hankins, Jacobs Taylor Hankins, Terry John Hankins, Gary Brent Hankins, Jon Michael Hankins, Travis Lane Hankins and Joseph Chuck Sikes.  Honorary Pallbearers are Abigail Demetra Hankins, Landyn Joseph Hankins, Ethan Daniel Hankins, Benjamin David Hankins, River Lane Hankins and Greyson Ford Hankins.

Mr. Hankins is survived by his sons, Joshua (Amy) Hankins of Gallatin, TN and Jacobs (Taylor) Hankins of Jacksonville, FL; his mother, Alice Jacobs Hankins and brother, Terry (Wanda) Hankins all of Martin; three grandsons, Ethan Daniel Hankins, Benjamin David Hankins and Greyson Ford Hankins.

Mr. Hankins was retired and was a member of First Baptist Church in Martin.

He was preceded in death by his father, Joe Albert Hankins; brothers, Gary Hankins and Dana Hankins; sister, Thea Hankins.
